Why We Tithe
"Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase;" - Proverbs 3:9
Tithing is the act of giving unto the Lord (typically) 10% of your income. It is not because we as the church are in need of financial assistance, or that God Himself is in any sort of need. This is an expression of faith letting God know you trust Him with your finances and are able to let go and give back to Him.
We encourage people to participate in Biblical expression of worship through giving, and it is always first and foremost a personal response between you and the Lord.
If you are looking to give your tithe or offering here at CCBB, you have several ways available.
You can mail a check to CCBB 1001 Holden Ave., Big Bear City CA 92314.
If you have a smart phone you can give through the app through the "online giving" button
OR JUST CLICK THE "GIVE" BUTTON BELOW and follow the directions to fill in your information, and make your preferred donation. You also have the option to create an account and save payment options for later, as well as set up recurring giving if you preferred.
